Instructions for Oral Presentation Audio Visual Equipment All oral session meeting rooms are equipped with following audio visual equipment: • One computer projector (LCD projector) • One laser pointer • One Windows laptop computer (Windows XP, PowerPoint 2000/2003) For presenters using your own laptop computer • Both for Windows and Macintosh users. • Set the resolution of screen: 1.024 x 768 pixels (XGA) • Cancel power-saving features: Cancellation of Sleep, Screen Saver, Password, etc. • Bring an AC adaptor. • The computer to be used for presentation must be equipped with a D-sub-15 pin video output. If your computer has a different connector, you should bring your own conversion cable. • Please bring your presentation data saved in CD-ROM or USB flash memory as back up. • Come to Speaker's Desk on-site no later than 30 minutes before your session and check your computer's image output. For presenters bringing data with CD-ROM or USB flash memory ** Macintosh users CANNOT bring your presentation data with CD-ROM or USB flash memory, but must bring your own computer. • For Windows users only • OS: Windows XP • Application: PowerPoint 2000 or 2003 • Prepare moving images file to be played by Windows Media Player in Windows XP and link the data to PowerPoint file. Save moving images and PowerPoint file in the same folder. -Check moving images with a computer at Speaker's Desk on-site. • If you have any concerns, we strongly recommend that you bring your own computer. Instructions for Poster Presentation A poster session will be held at room Hana on 4th floor, Main Tower, Keio Plaza Hotel. Each poster presentation is allotted one poster board (as shown below). Presenters should use pushpins to put up their posters. Pushpins will be prepared by the Secretariat. Poster Display The title of the poster, all letters, graphs and charts should be prepared beforehand in a size that is easy to see. A set-up and removal date and time of poster is below: Set-up date & time: Monday, March 31 10:00-12:00 Removal date & time: Wednesday, April 2 10:00-12:00 Any poster remaining after 12:00 April 2 will be removed and disposed of by the Secretariat. Discussion Time All posters are assigned the following discussion date and time. Discussion date & time: Tuesday, April 1 16:00-17:00 During the discussion time, presenters are expected to present their posters in front of the poster boards and discuss it with their participants.
